Fortnightly Focus – Summer Mental Health 

The holidays are typically associated with rest and relaxation, but for some it can be a difficult time. Six weeks out of normal routine can feel daunting for both parents and children. 

So how can we mentally prepare for summer? 

Get organised, look after yourself and try to create a support group. 
Block off time to enjoy summer activities
Make a list of your favourite hobbies
Take Care of your body- eat well, sleep well and execise regularly
See family and friends – keep talking
Relax
Spend more time outside
Ask for help if you need it
