DTP/MEN ACWY Vaccination for Year 9 Students

Vaccination UK will be attending our school to provide the Teenage Booster Vaccinations to Year 9 students on Thursday 13th February 2025. Please see above the link to the E-Consent form where you can either consent or decline both vaccinations. Also attached, you will find more information regarding these vaccinations.

DTP/MEN ACWY protects against Diphtheria, Tetanus, Polio and Meningitis ACWY. These vaccinations are part of the childhood vaccination schedule, and your child should have already received 4 doses as a baby and at pre-school age. This is the fifth and final dose.

It is really important that all parents complete the E-Consent form. Even if parents decline the vaccine, Vaccination UK still need the consent form completed. This will ensure that your child does NOT get vaccinated. Should Vaccination UK not receive a consent form for a child, they will assess the child for Gillick Competency.
